Note: The player can obtain this Achievement before receiving Eleanor's Summon Plasmid and Plasmid slot, by purchasing Plasmid slot upgrade 1, 2, 3 and 4 for 40, 50, 60 and 70 ADAM and the fifth slot upgrade in Fontaine Futuristics which also costs 70 ADAM. Both last Plasmid slot upgrades cost 70 ADAM.
Complete all research on every subject in Rapture.
Note: Some enemies will stop appearing at certain points in the game, preventing the player from ever researching them again. It is suggested the player researches as much as possible as early as possible. Example: The Thuggish Splicer stops appearing after Delta leaves Pauper's Drop.

Defeat 3 Big Daddies without dying during the fight.
Note: There are 129 total Audio Diaries in BioShock 2. It's okay to miss 29, but still highly suggested to search everywhere for as many diaries as possible.
Against All Odds[]

Finish the game on the hardest difficulty level.
Note: The "Hard" difficulty is somewhat easier than its predecessor. You can also use vita-chambers.
Note: To do this, use Telekinesis to pick up the golf club behind the first mannequin of Andrew Ryan encountered in the Ryan Amusements level, then throw it at the mannequin's head for the achievement. The golf club must hit his head, not the actual body, so if the player has dismembered the mannequin beforehand, they would need to find the head and shoot the club at it.
