BioShock for PlayStation Vita is a cancelled game that was announced at E3 2011.[1]
The game was quoted as "It's a different project. It's its own thing being built from the ground up," by Ken Levine. "That is going to be strange and surprising to people. I think we always want to surprise people. If I'm just saying 'here's BioShock 1 on Vita', that's something we could potentially do, but you don't need us to do that. Somebody can make that happen."
The question of what style of game it was being envisioned and the response was "Final Fantasy Tactics style thing set in pre-fall Rapture."[2]
There was mentions of no updates on the game during the layoffs at Irrational Games.[3]
