Buck

Buck (short for 'buckshot') is the ammunition type used by the Shotgun. There are three different types of Buck in BioShock.

00 Buck Damage: High amount of piercing damage. Effectiveness: Effective against all targets. Damage Bonus: Damage bonuses applied from the Damage Research Gene Tonics. Price: $54 (base price) $41 (hacked) Availability: Can be bought and found in abundance.

Electric Buck Damage: High amount of electric damage; stuns on impact. Can be used to open short-circuiting doors. Effectiveness: Effective against all targets. Damage Bonus: Damage bonuses applied from the Damage Research and Electric Flesh Tonics. Price: $72 (base price) $54 (hacked Circus of Values) $36 (hacked El Ammo Bandito) Availability: Can be bought and found in limited quantities.

Exploding Buck Damage: High amount of heat damage; ignites enemies and objects on impact. Can be used to melt ice and ignite oil in the same fashion as Incinerate! Effectiveness: Effective against all targets. Damage Bonus: Damage bonuses applied from the Damage Research and Human Inferno Tonics. Price: 3 Kerosene, 2 Shell Casing, 1 Screw (U-Invent) Availability: Can be found and manufactured in limited quantities.
