Oxford Club is a brand of cigarettes in Rapture. Oxford Club was considered a high-end product and favored by the Rapture upper-class. The brand was sold at Robertson's Tobaccoria in Fort Frolic[1] and High Street's Le Marquis D'Epoque branch,[2] among others, and used marketing tactics like promotional models/brand advocates to acquire new customers,[3] as well as advertising in locations like Fort Frolic and Fontaine's Department Store. As seen in her Mercury Suites apartment, Oxford Club was smoked by Brigid Tenenbaum.
Oxford Club cigarettes can be found and smoked during BioShock and BioShock 2, although they are quite rare, causing the player to lose health while their EVE is increased. Advertising posters are seen in BioShock 2 Multiplayer, BioShock Infinite and Burial at Sea - Episode 1.
Behind the Scenes[]

- Oxford Club cigarettes, despite the term used in both gameplay and advertising around Rapture, uses a model that seems to suggest that they are in fact cigarillos or fine cigars. If one looks closely at the game world model in e.g. Arcadia's Rolling Hills or the Adonis Luxury Resort, one can clearly see the rich brown color of the product.

- Oxford Club is named after the city of Oxford in England, known for the University of Oxford.[4]
