Peter the Parasite is a rat-like propaganda character meant to represent the "Parasite" and is the total opposite of Ryan the Lion. He is seen in Ryan the Lion Preparatory Academy, featured in an education video and many pictures are seen of him, usually next to Ryan the Lion in Burial at Sea - Episode 2.

Educational Video[]
Hello, Children. I'm Ryan the Lion. I'm here to tell you about Peter the Parasite. If I bake a pie, isn't it mine to enjoy? "No," says Peter the Parasite. "We all deserve a piece." If I earn a nickel, isn't it my right to buy candy if I see fit? "No," says Peter the Parasite. "You must only buy fruits and vegetables." If I can afford to see the doctor, is it my concern that others can not? "No," says that damnable Parasite. "We must all crowd our way into the physician's office." Ryan the Lion says... "Chew on that, you Parasite."
Behind the Scenes[]
- Ryan the Lion and Peter the Parasite are a cynical reworking of Aesop's Fable, "The Lion and the Mouse." The original fable preaches the values of mercy, cooperation, and forgiveness, while the Rapture equivalent extols objectivism.
- Peter the Parasite and Ryan the Lion are the Rapture version of Dimwit & Duke from Columbia.
