Then I met this straight-shooter name'a Sinclair, and he laid a sweet deal on me. Said he's got some hard-luck folks down in Pauper's Drop can whip up this junk at half the cost I useta pay.

Sinclair Toys was a business owned by Augustus Sinclair that specialized in the production of toys at low prices. Sinclair marketed his toys to various stores throughout Rapture, such as the Gift Shop at Ryan Amusements. Many shopkeepers, including Silas Bantam, chose to stock Sinclair's toys because they were much cheaper to buy and could be sold for a greater profit. The secret to Sinclair's inexpensive toy production was cheap labor in Pauper's Drop. The crates of toys manufactured by the residents of the Drop sometimes contained dangerous needles left by careless workers, but the shop owners chose to overlook this flaw in the interest of turning a profit.[1]
