Speedy Hacker is a Gene Tonic that decreases the difficulty of hacking.

BioShock

In BioShock both versions of this Tonic can be used together for an increased effect.

Speedy Hacker “ The most popular of the HackSmart line, Speedy Hacker buys you the time you need to hack any electronic device. Time is on YOUR side with Speedy Hacker! ” Effect: Reduces the flow speed by one and a half seconds per tile during the hacking minigame. Location: Found at the Painless Dental in the Medical Pavilion. Can also be purchased at Gatherer's Gardens from Arcadia to Hephaestus. Cost: 20 ADAM

Speedy Hacker 2 “ In our ever-accelerating world of progress, it's hard to find time to stop and think. But now you can buy yourself that time -- with new Speedy Hacker Two! Only from HackSmart. ” Effect: Reduces the flow speed by three seconds per tile during the hacking minigame. Location: Available for purchase at Gatherer's Gardens in levels from Olympus Heights to Point Prometheus. Cost: 50 ADAM

Challenge Rooms

In Worlds of Hurt, Speedy Hacker 2 can be bought at the Gatherer's Garden in the central hub for 60 ADAM.

BioShock 2 Multiplayer

Speedy Hacker “ Hack machines FASTER. ” Effect: Greatly reduces the hacking time for Turrets and Vending Machines. Rank: Obtained at Rank 24.

Notes

• Speedy Hacker will not affect the Repairman Gene Tonic, which allows the player to repair destroyed turrets.
