Steve Gaynor started in QA before he was hired by TimeGate Studios as a level designer on FEAR: Perseus Mandate. From April 2008 to November 2010, he worked at 2K Marin developing BioShock 2. He also held the position of Lead Designer in the team that created the Minerva's Den downloadable content. In 2010 and 2011, he briefly worked at Irrational Games while they developed BioShock Infinite.[3]
In March of 2012, Steve Gaynor founded a new independent game development company with Johnnemann Nordhagen, and Karla Zimonja, two members of the 2K Marin team who previously worked with him on the Minerva's Den DLC project. Their new company, named The Fullbright Company, is located in Portland, Oregon.[4]
