Wasted Effort[]
They might have gotten a little more play-hours out of the game if they had a few more of these which give you a clue of where to look (hidden chests etc) and back thru some terrain youve already traversed (prefereably not all the same 'keys' mechanism combination or hidden button or lever useable once you know its there).
I guess thats one of the problems where it takes so long for a games design to settle - they spend more time redoing everything and then deliver less than they could have for the resources allocated.

Chest with the secret plans showing the vent port that if a projectile is fired into it will destroy Columbia
