Conjecture: The "Requiem" is Jack[]

I don't know if this'll actually be added to the page, but I have a bit of a theory behind Cohen's last audio diary here. I like to believe that he recorded it while forcing Jack into doing his errands (in other words, during Jack's journey through Fort Frolic).

To start off with, we do know that while Jack was killing his disciples, Cohen spent most of his time waiting in the Fleet Hall's projection room, which is where you find this audio diary, so he could have recorded it recently. As for the diary itself, what we do know for certain is that it's a blatant death threat to Ryan. He didn't use the word "requiem" (a piece of music that honors putting the dead to rest) for nothing. Having blamed Ryan for supposedly busting his chance at fame and success, it seems Cohen wants Ryan dead, period... which brings us to Jack.

Cohen knows for a fact that Jack is out to kill Ryan, and agrees to send Jack to Hephaestus anyway (under his conditions of course). If Cohen hadn't already made an attempt to murder Ryan already (which would naturally nullify this theory), could Jack be the "requiem" Cohen is referring to in this diary? In his own mind, Cohen's requiem, his parting gift to Ryan, is an assassin of his own choosing. That's just my bit of conjecture though. Valkerone (talk) 23:19, June 4, 2020 (UTC)
