Vending Expert

Vending Expert is a Gene Tonic in BioShock and BioShock 2 which reduces prices in vending machines. Both versions of this tonic can be used together.

BioShock Edit

In BioShock, the Vending Expert Tonics are only available after installing the 1.1 patch and DLC for PC and Xbox 360 versions.

Vending Expert

“	With the Vending Expert tonic altering your EM signature, you can fool the pricing circuits at any vending machine. Known to our customers as "Circus Maximus," Vending Expert will pay for itself in no time!	”

Effect:

Provides a slight reduction to prices in vending machines.

Location:

First available for purchase from a Gatherer's Garden in Arcadia.

Cost:

20 ADAM (1 ADAM in DLC)

Vending Expert 2

“	Corporate conspiracies let the "important" people negotiate better prices for themselves at all of our vending machines. Is that fair? You know it isn't! Get a taste of how the better half lives, with Vending Expert 2.	”

Effect:

Provides a significant reduction to prices in vending machines.

Location:

First available for purchase from a Gatherer's Garden in Hephaestus.

Cost:

50 ADAM (1 ADAM in DLC)

Challenge Rooms Edit

In Worlds of Hurt, Vending Expert 2 can be bought at the Gatherer's Garden in the central hub for 50 ADAM.

BioShock 2 Edit

Effect:

Provides a slight reduction to prices in vending machines.

Location:

Found hanging from a rope below the stairwell in the southwest corner of Plaza Hedone in Siren Alley. Can also be purchased at Gatherer's Gardens in later levels.

Cost:

75 ADAM

Minerva's Den Edit

Can be purchased for 75 ADAM from all Gatherer's Gardens.

Vending Expert 2

“	Watch your dollars go even further with Vending Expert 2. Enjoy rock bottom prices from all of Rapture's vending machines.	”

Effect:

Provides a significant reduction to prices in vending machines.

Location:

Found as a reward for tracking the Unstable Teleport Plasmid as it disappears and reappears throughout Fontaine Futuristics. Can also be purchased at Gatherer's Gardens in Inner Persephone.

Cost:

90 ADAM
