- “What's the harm of having a drink with Fitzroy's people? Face to face at the Graveyard Shift, why, they're … they're just folk.”
- ― Wilbur Sykes[src]
Private Wilbur Sykes is a soldier who worked for the Founders in Columbia. He was often sent on missions to hunt down any members of the Vox Populi. A recorded Voxophone tells about how he spent time at the Graveyard Shift, and forgot to bring a key for a locker containing potential evidence.
Whereas most soldiers truly hated and treated the Vox as heretics and monsters, Wilbur only went after them because he was paid to do so as part of his job, and outside of work hours he often drank with them.
